HSTi Wi-Fi Streaming Media Stick Designed For Android Devices

HSTi has created a Wireless Media Stick specifically for Android mobile devices that it will be showcasing at CES 2011 this week. The new Wireless Media Stick allows you to stream your stored movies, music and photos from any Android-powered smartphone or tablet.

Once it has been attached to a wireless router, or your Smart Phone’s or Tablet’s built in Wi-Fi Access Point, the Wireless Media Stick basically acts as a wireless bridge between the USB playback ports on your media player, game consoles or set top boxes and streams the shared files from the desired Android Phone or Tablet directly to view on your large screen TV via the stick.

The media player with Wireless Media Stick attached reads the file as if it was stored inside the Wireless Media Stick, but the file resides in the Android device.
